Tips on how to keep your hamster happy

Here are our few top tips to make sure your hamster has a happy long life

1. At least 6-10 inches of bedding

2. A suitable wheel - for dwarfs its 8 inches for Syrian hamsters its a 10-12 inch

3. Give them a good diet - mealworms, vegetables, treats

4. A minimum of 100cm long cage (500 square ft minimum)

5. Having different textures for them to walk on is really entertaining for them to experience, as Lauren found out!

6. Fresh Water daily

7. Foraging Encouragement, such as scattering food around their cage or making cardboard toys
